Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead critical infrastructure projects in and around Vereeniging. You will drive delivery from concept to completion, ensuring on-time, on-budget results and adherence to quality standards.

You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage stakeholders, and mitigate risks, with a focus on large-scale energy facilities. A Bachelor's in Engineering or Construction Management and 8+ years of PM experience are required; hybrid work is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in project management, preferably in energy/infrastructure.
• Proven ability to manage large-scale capital projects from initiation to completion.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle from planning to closure.
• Develop detailed plans with scope, budget, timelines, and resources.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams including engineers, contractors, and consultants.
• Oversee procurement, contracts, and vendor relations.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.
• Communicate status and challenges to senior management and stakeholders.
