Job summary

Network Recruitment is seeking a senior Power Electronics Engineer to design and develop next-generation power electronic products in Pretoria. You will drive development from requirements through validation and production, and collaborate with multiple engineering teams to ensure robust solutions.

The role emphasizes EMC/EMI, regulatory compliance, and thorough testing across DC/DC converters, inverters, motor drives, and battery charging systems. This is an on-site position in Gauteng.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of industry experience in Power Electronics.
• Experience developing DC/DC converters, DC/AC inverters, motor drives, or battery charging systems.
• Experience with high-voltage systems and power conversion technologies.
• Strong simulation and modelling capabilities using MATLAB, Simulink, SPICE, or equivalent tools.
• Knowledge of EMC, EMI, validation, compliance, and certification processes.
