Qualifikationen

• Minimum 7 years of experience in electrical engineering with emphasis on power distribution.

Aufgaben

• Design and develop electrical distribution systems including substations and networks.
• Perform power flow, load forecasting, and fault current calculations.
• Specify transformers, switchgear, protection relays and distribution equipment.
• Develop single-line diagrams, protection schemes, and grounding systems.
• Ensure designs comply with national/international standards (SANS, IEC).
• Oversee installation, commissioning, and testing of distribution infrastructure.
• Conduct site inspections and feasibility studies for new projects.
• Analyze system performance and propose upgrades for reliability.
• Collaborate with clients, regulators and other engineers.
• Prepare detailed reports, project documentation and cost estimates.
