Placements24 seeks a highly accomplished Project Manager to oversee the development and construction of significant renewable energy infrastructure in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal. You will manage wind, solar, and potential hydro projects from conception to commissioning, with field-based responsibilities and a strong focus on safety and compliance.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in project management within energy, PMP or equivalent, and a proven track record delivering large-scale projects

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; Master's or PMP highly desirable.
• Minimum 12 years in project management; 8+ years in large-scale infra in renewables.
• Proven budget experience exceeding R500 million.
• Experience delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of renewable energy technologies.
• Knowledge of PMI or PRINCE2.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proficient with project management software (MS Project, Primavera P6).

• Lead all phases of renewable energy projects from feasibility to commissioning.
• Develop and manage plans, budgets, and schedules for timely delivery.
• Oversee contractor and vendor selection, negotiation, and management.
• Ensure strict health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
