Job summary

Our client in infrastructure development is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee critical Upington, Northern Cape projects. This full-time, on-site role requires coordinating with site teams, regulators, and stakeholders to deliver on-time, within-budget infrastructure initiatives.

The ideal candidate has a civil engineering or construction management background with 7+ years of project leadership, strong budgeting and risk-management skills, and a proven track record of compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Master's degree or professional registration (e.g., Pr. Eng) is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management for infrastructure/utilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end infrastructure and utilities projects from concept to completion.
• Develop detailed project plans including scope, budgets, schedules, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Manage engineers, contractors, and site personnel for efficient workflow and high performance.
• Oversee procurement, vendor management and contract administration.
• Ensure safety, environmental, and quality standards compliance.
• Monitor progress and address delays or cost overruns; report to senior management.
