Job summary

Heineken Beverages invites applications for a leadership role based in Springs, overseeing the maintenance function of the plant. The successful candidate will report to the Engineering Manager and drive asset care, project execution, and budget control.

The role requires a BSc/BTech or NHED in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, with at least 5 years of boiler and utilities experience in a beverage environment. Willingness to work outside normal hours is expected.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in engineering or related field.
• Experience in coal-fired boiler operation and maintenance.
• Experience in managing utilities and plant infrastructure.
• Experience in budget control and project management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with EH&S and risk management standards.
• Lead maintenance and projects across the plant, from inception to commissioning.
• Develop and manage annual departmental plans and budgets.
• Drive maintenance strategies, asset care, and reliability improvements.
• Coordinate risk assessments and FAT/PAT testing.
• Supervise and develop maintenance teams and contractors.
