Job summary

Curro seeks to appoint a Coding and Robotics Teacher (Senior Phase) at The Kings School in Linbro Park to commence duties in January 2027. The role involves teaching and coordinating a range of subjects per Curro and IEB curricula for the senior phase.

The successful candidate will plan lessons, manage assessments, and employ innovative, learner-centered approaches. A BEd or PGCE with honours is advantageous; minimum 2 years’ experience; knowledge of IEB; strong communication and planning

Qualifications

• BEd or PGCE with senior phase focus, honours preferred
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a senior phase teacher
• Knowledge of the IEB curriculum and assessment practices
• Strong facilitation, report-writing and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Teach and coordinate subjects as per Curro and IEB curricula
• Plan and manage term plans, assessments and workload
• Plan classroom layout, manage disciplinary rules and parent communication
• Provide one-on-one tutoring and support, including extra lessons
• Coordinate extramural activities and outings
