Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years in petroleum engineering, focusing on reservoir and production.
• Experience with reservoir simulation software (Eclipse, CMG).
• Strong knowledge of reservoir fluids, rock mechanics, and well test analysis.
• Ability to develop and execute production optimization plans.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills; remote collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct detailed reservoir characterization studies to understand reservoir potential and performance.
• Develop and implement optimized production strategies for oil and gas wells.
• Perform decline curve analysis, material balance calculations, and numerical reservoir simulations.
• Design and manage well interventions, workovers, and artificial lift systems.
• Monitor well performance, identify production issues, and recommend solutions to maximize recovery.
• Collaborate with geoscientists, drilling engineers, and production operators to ensure integrated project execution.
• Prepare technical reports, economic evaluations, and recommendations for management.
• Stay abreast of new technologies and industry best practices in petroleum engineering.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Contribute to the development of long-term reservoir management plans.
