Placements24 is seeking a Senior Petroleum Engineer to join the on-site team in Mahikeng. You will manage reservoir performance, forecast production, and devise strategies to maximize recovery with strong technical execution and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

The role requires 8+ years in petroleum engineering, expertise in reservoir modeling, and the ability to translate data into actionable plans on a live field. On-site position with safety and performance emphasis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years in petroleum and reservoir engineering.
• Strong knowledge of reservoir simulation, fluid flow in porous media, and thermodynamics.
• Experience with production forecasting and reserve estimation.

Responsibilities

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Petroleum Engineer to join their team on-site in Mahikeng . This role is pivotal in managing and optimizing the recovery of hydrocarbons from reservoirs. You will be responsible for analyzing reservoir performance, forecasting production, and recommending strategies to enhance recovery factors. This position requires a deep technical understanding of reservoir engineering principles and a proven ability to apply them in practical field applications within the Oil & Gas industry . As an on-site team member, you will have direct involvement in field operations and close collaboration with field personnel, contributing significantly to the company's production goals.
