Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Petroleum Engineer to join their team in Benoni . This role is crucial for optimizing hydrocarbon recovery and managing the technical aspects of oil and gas production operations. You will be responsible for conducting reservoir analyses, evaluating production performance, and recommending strategies to enhance output and maximize asset value. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze well performance data, including production rates, pressures, and fluid properties, to assess reservoir conditions.


• Develop and implement strategies for production optimization, artificial lift, and enhanced oil recovery (EOR).


• Conduct economic evaluations of development projects and production enhancement opportunities.


• Collaborate with geologists and reservoir engineers to build integrated reservoir models and development plans.


• Oversee the technical aspects of drilling and completion operations, ensuring alignment with reservoir objectives.


• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and recommendations for management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
