Job summary

Kraken is seeking a Senior Performance Video Creative to own paid video across product launches, campaigns, and always-on activity. You will ideate, generate, edit, and ship assets, using AI as a core production method and adapting for multiple markets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in performance video creative at a high-volume in-house team or agency (fintech/crypto/regulatory context preferred).
• Portfolio with 2-3 full video cuts, include AI-generated/assisted piece with tooling notes.
• Real video skills from concept to sound-designed cut.
• High-level fluency with gen AI video and image tooling and shipped work.
• Platform-native instincts for Meta, TikTok, YouTube with explanations of differences.
• Experience in structured creative testing and metrics interpretation (thumb-stop rate, hooks, CTR, CVR, CPA, ROAS).
• Fluent in internet culture and meme rhythm; ability to adapt to fast pace and late changes.
• Strong copywriting instinct for scripts and on-screen text, plain language with value-first messaging.

Responsibilities

• Own paid video for Kraken Consumer across product launches, campaigns and always-on activity.
• Build for channels like Meta, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Reddit and X with platform-specific specs.
• Concept and cut performance video to ship complete cross-format sets.
• Produce AI-generated and AI-assisted video and maintain repeatable AI workflows.
• Pitch culture-driven, internet-native concepts and integrate winners into pillars.
• Version and localize video at scale across markets, languages and regulatory needs.
• Design with testing in mind; analyze results and iterate on hooks and cuts.
• Flex into AI-assisted static when required and stay aligned with brand baselines.
• Partner with Product Marketing, compliance and regional teams to approve while preserving concept.
• Maintain high craft and clean file management so others can reuse.
