Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a Senior Payroll Administrator to manage the payroll for a large workforce in Gauteng. The role requires leadership, high data accuracy, and strong Excel skills to handle 2000 salaries and 2500 weekly wages in compliance with legislation.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Sage HR Premier, Sage Employment Self Service, and a solid understanding of South African payroll regulations including BCEA and NBCRFLI.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and coordinate a payroll function within a large scale organisation.
• Ensure and maintain high level quality and accuracy of data entered in to the system.
• Organisation and time management skills.
• Be able to deal with confidential and sensitive payroll related matters.
• To relate to people from various cultures and to work in a team.
• Understand the rules of NBCRFLI Main Collective Agreement, BCEA, Wholesale and Retail Sector and Unemployment Act
• Analytical and numeracy skills
• Sage Employment Self Service Portal experience
• Minimum of 5 years experience on Sage HR Premier system
• Must have a Matric
• Excellent Excel Skills is required i.e. Pivot Tables, Formulas
