Job summary

Farm Manager SA is seeking a seasoned operations leader for our citrus packhouse in the Eastern Cape. The role focuses on planning staff, driving productivity, and upholding strict food safety standards.

You will manage teams, ensure HACCP and cold chain compliance, build credible relationships with internal and external partners, and drive continuous improvement. A relevant tertiary qualification and at least five years in packhouse/production/operations are required.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Operations, Production or Agriculture (advantageous).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in packhouse/production/operations (citrus).
• Proven experience managing teams.
• Strong understanding of food safety, cold chain management, HACCP principles.
• Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Computer literate (Excel and Outlook).
• Valid driver’s license.
