Farm Manager SA is seeking an experienced operations leader to drive packhouse performance in a citrus export environment in KwaZulu-Natal. You will oversee quality, compliance, labour management, and reporting, ensuring continuous improvement and adherence to GlobalG.A.P., HACCP, PPECB standards.

The role requires a Diploma or Degree in Agriculture or related field, strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage large, diverse teams during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Agriculture, Food Technology, or Production/Operations Management.
• Minimum 57 years experience in a citrus or fresh produce packhouse environment.
• In-depth knowledge of packing line equipment, cold chain logistics, and export requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Sound understanding of compliance and certification systems (GlobalG.A.P., HACCP, PPECB).
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, packhouse or production management systems).
