Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer to design and implement high-performance database solutions. The role emphasizes Oracle PL/SQL mastery, SQL excellence, and data modelling in a high-volume environment.

The candidate will work within a technical team, plan development work, and contribute to SDLC processes, including unit testing, code reviews, and knowledge sharing. Collaboration with internal and external resources is required.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Oracle PL/SQL
• Strong SQL knowledge and data modelling skills
• Experience in high data volume environments
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Understanding of the full SDLC and disciplined code maintenance
• Experience with AWS RDS & Aurora
• Ability to work with internal and external resources
• Ability to plan, estimate effort, and deliverables
• Knowledge of data management strategies and reporting data usage
• Experience with unit testing and code reviews

Responsibilities

• Implement tactical design
• Analyze requirements and design specifications at system/enterprise level
• Provide effort estimates and impact analysis
• Develop in PL/SQL and MySQL
• Unit test developed code
• Conduct code reviews for PL/SQL and MySQL
• Review documents and design data management strategies
