Indsafri is seeking a senior Oracle specialist to design, build and shape mission critical Oracle database solutions. You will lead projects, mentor developers and turn bottlenecks into measurable wins.

You will design schemas, optimize SQL, and ensure security and reliability across systems. You will collaborate with PMs, BAs and IT teams from requirements to on‑time delivery, while promoting best practices and scalable architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 7+ years as an Oracle Developer designing, developing and optimising Oracle database solutions.
• Strong Oracle SQL, PL/SQL and performance tuning skills with a focus on performance optimisation.
• Advanced knowledge of Oracle database architecture, design and development.
• Experience with data migration, ETL processes and database integration.
• Experience with database management and monitoring tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with effective communication.
• Nice to have: Oracle Certified Professional or related certifications.

Responsabilités

• Design and build Oracle database solutions end to end: schemas, tables, indexes and stored procedures.
• Write and optimise complex SQL, PL/SQL and database functions.
• Hunt down bottlenecks through query tuning, indexing and resource management.
• Keep databases healthy by monitoring with Oracle tools and handling backups, restores, upgrades and troubleshooting.
• Protect sensitive data by implementing and enforcing database security measures and access controls.
• Lead delivery of database development projects with PMs, BAs and IT teams.
• Mentor and lead junior developers with hands‑on technical leadership.
• Drive improvement by documenting designs and configurations, reporting on performance and project status.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Design and build Oracle database solutions end to end: schemas, tables, indexes and stored procedures, aligned with best practice and industry standards.
• Write and optimise complex SQL, PL/SQL and database functions that meet business requirements and performance standards.
• Hunt down bottlenecks through query tuning, indexing and resource management to keep systems highly available, reliable and scalable.
• Keep databases healthy by monitoring with Oracle tools and utilities and handling backups, restores, upgrades and troubleshooting.
• Protect sensitive data by implementing and enforcing database security measures and access controls.
• Lead delivery of database development projects with PMs, BAs and IT teams, from requirements to on‑time delivery.
• Mentor and lead junior developers, providing hands‑on technical leadership.
• Drive improvement by documenting designs and configurations, reporting on performance and project status to senior management, and recommending upgrades to performance, security and functionality.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field
• 7+ years as an Oracle Developer designing, developing and optimising Oracle database solutions
• Proven, strong Oracle SQL, PL/SQL and Oracle Performance Tuning skills, with a focus on performance optimisation
• Advanced knowledge of Oracle database architecture, design and development
• Experience with data migration, ETL processes and database integration
• Experience with database management and monitoring tools
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, plus effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Nice to have: an advanced degree or certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional
