About the Role Our client, a leader in the mining and metals processing industry, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Operations Manager to lead their gold processing plant in Sandton, Gauteng . This senior leadership role is responsible for the overall management of plant operations, ensuring efficient, safe, and cost-effective production of gold. You will oversee all aspects of the processing facility, including milling, leaching, CIL, smelting, and refining, driving continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in gold processing, a strong understanding of metallurgical principles, and proven leadership capabilities. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all day-to-day operations of the gold processing plant to meet production targets.

• Familiarity with South African mining regulations and environmental compliance requirements.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management abilities.
