Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop comprehensive online course curricula aligned with learning objectives and industry standards.
• Create engaging and interactive learning materials, including multimedia content, assessments, and activities.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure content accuracy and pedagogical soundness.
• Utilize instructional design principles and best practices to create effective e-learning modules.
• Develop and implement assessment strategies to measure learning outcomes and provide feedback.

• Conduct thorough reviews and revisions of existing online courses to enhance quality and relevance.

Requirements

• Proven experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or a related field within an educational setting.
• Demonstrated expertise in creating online learning content for various platforms (LMS, etc.).
• Strong understanding of adult learning theories and instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM).
• Proficiency in using authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and multimedia software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) administration and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Curriculum Development, or a related field.
• Experience in the Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal, ZA region is not required due to the fully remote nature of this position.
