Job summary

Placements24 seeks a Senior Medical Science Liaison to cover the Gauteng region in a fully remote capacity. You will act as a scientific and clinical expert, engaging with KOLs and HCPs to discuss oncology data, treatment paradigms, and unmet medical needs.

With 5+ years in medical affairs or as an MSL, you will build relationships with academia and professional societies, present data at conferences, and identify investigator-initiated research opportunities while supporting trial activities.

Qualifications

• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with medical experts.
• Ability to work independently, manage a territory, and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Engage with KOLs and HCPs to discuss scientific data, disease management, and unmet medical needs in oncology.
• Develop and maintain relationships with academic institutions, hospitals, and professional organizations.
• Present complex scientific information at medical conferences, advisory boards, and investigator meetings.
• Identify and facilitate investigator-initiated research opportunities and support clinical trial activities.
• Gather and communicate insights on competitive landscape and clinical practice trends to internal teams.
• Serve as a primary scientific resource for the oncology portfolio and ensure accurate communication of medical information.
