You will apply advanced FEA tools (ANSYS, STAAD.Pro, SACS) to assess structural integrity under wave, wind and seismic loads, ensuring compliance with DNV, API and ISO standards. This Sandton role offers international project exposure and a pathway to leadership.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Structural or Civil Eng with offshore specialization.
• 8+ years in offshore structural engineering, Oil & Gas focus.
• Proficient in FEA software and offshore design codes (DNV, API, ISO).
• Experience with fatigue, seismic, and blast analysis is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural design and analysis of offshore platforms, jackets, topsides, subsea structures, and related facilities.
• Utilize FEA software (ANSYS, STAAD.Pro, SACS) to assess structural integrity under wave, wind, seismic, and operational loads.
• Ensure designs comply with international codes, standards, and client specs.
• Conduct integrity assessments and life extension studies for offshore assets.
• Develop structural design reports, calculations, and drawings.
• Collaborate with naval architecture, process, and subsea teams for integrated designs.
• Review fabrication drawings and support construction and installation phases.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical development.
