Placements24 is seeking an experienced Offshore Production Supervisor to oversee operations in Mossel Bay, Western Cape, ZA. You will lead a team of production operators and technicians, optimize production rates, and ensure safe offshore operations.

The role requires extensive offshore experience, strong leadership capabilities, and deep understanding of hydrocarbon processing and emergency response procedures. Rotational offshore work and a commitment to HSE are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in offshore oil & gas production operations.
• Supervisory or leadership experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of offshore facilities, equipment, and processes.
• Offshore survival training certification (e.g., BOSIET) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all offshore production operations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor production equipment and systems; implement preventive maintenance strategies.
• Optimize production volumes while maintaining safety and environmental standards.
• Lead and mentor the offshore production team, fostering safety and performance.
• Oversee the safe handling and transfer of hydrocarbons.
• Manage daily production reporting and data analysis.
• Develop and implement emergency response plans and lead response efforts when necessary.
• Conduct safety audits and risk assessments.
