Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network security engineering or a similar role.
• Strong expertise in firewall management (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA), IDS/IPS, and SIEM solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP networking, routing protocols, and network security principles.
• Experience with VPN technologies (IPsec, SSL VPN) and network access control (NAC).
• Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or GIAC are highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to react quickly under pressure.
• Strong communication skills for reporting security incidents and collaborating with other teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain network security infrastructure, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and NAC solutions.
• Monitor network traffic and security logs for suspicious activities and potential security breaches.
• Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing.
• Develop and enforce network security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Respond to and manage security incidents, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into network design and operations.
