Job summary

HEC Network Operations is seeking a 2nd Level Support engineer to maintain the stability, performance and security of the network. You will handle complex incidents and service requests, and collaborate with Network Ops 3rd Level Support.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in enterprise/network environments, experience with monitoring/orchestrator tools, knowledge of security aspects, and ITIL knowledge or certification. Customer-facing engineering experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years experience as a network engineer in enterprise data centers.
• Experience with ITIL processes and customer-facing engineering roles.
• Familiarity with monitoring/orchestrator tools and security aspects of systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure stability, performance and security of the HEC network.
• Handle Service Requests and Incident Management tasks.
• Collaborate with Network Ops 3rd Level to identify unknown errors.
• Document findings in the Known Error Database (KEDB).
• Assist Service Desk and Level 1 staff to take on more tasks.
