Placements24 is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to lead design and implementation of critical network infrastructure in Kimberley. You will architect scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions, guiding projects from conception to deployment in a remote-first environment.

The role requires deep expertise in TCP/IP, routing, and network security, with hands-on experience across Cisco/Juniper/Aruba hardware and cloud networking (AWS/Azure). A CCIE/CCNP or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in CS/Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in network engineering and design.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP/OSPF, and security concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and implement complex network solutions (LAN/WAN/Wireless/Cloud).
• Develop network architecture documentation and standards.
• Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade networking hardware from vendors like Cisco, Juniper, or Aruba.
• Experience with cloud networking (e.g., AWS VPC, Azure VNet) is highly desirable.
• Relevant certifications such as CCIE, CCNP, or equivalent are preferred.
