Placements24 is seeking a Senior Network Engineer in Bloemfontein to design, implement, and maintain a high-performance network infrastructure across LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPNs. You will lead security implementations and collaborate with IT teams to ensure robust connectivity and uptime.

The role requires 6+ years in network engineering, TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP knowledge, and experience with Cisco/Juniper/Aruba hardware. CCNA/CCNP certifications are highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of network engineering and administration experience.
• Certifications such as CCNA or CCNP are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and manage enterprise networks (LAN/WAN/WLAN/VPN).
• Implement and maintain network security measures (firewalls, IDS/IPS, ACLs).
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and perform root cause analysis of outages.
• Develop and document network standards, procedures, and best practices.

About the Role

You will be responsible for network architecture, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring the uptime and reliability of all network services. Key Responsibilities

Requirements
