Job summary

Boardroom Appointments seeks a Senior Network Engineer experienced in enterprise environments to design, deploy, and optimize LAN, WAN, and wireless networks. You will implement security protocols, mentor junior engineers, and lead upgrades while collaborating with cross-functional teams on cloud integration and data center operations.

You should have 5+ years in network engineering, strong vendor expertise (Cisco/Juniper), and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Masters preferred.
5+ years of experience in network engineering in enterprise environments.
Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP or equivalent are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Design and deploy LAN, WAN, and wireless networks, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot complex issues to ensure uptime and reliability.
Implement and manage network security protocols, including VPNs, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support cloud integration, data center operations, and remote connectivity.
Lead network upgrades, migrations, and capacity planning initiatives.
Maintain documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and operational procedures.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership on strategic projects.
Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance network efficiency and security.
