Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a Network Engineer to support a range of network engineering tasks within a dynamic environment. The role requires hands-on experience with network tools, cloud concepts, and WAN/LAN components, with the ability to prioritize and lead tasks.

The candidate should demonstrate strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, effective communication, and the ability to work independently as well as across engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Must have a BS in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Experience with network support tools and administration is required.
• Knowledge of cloud computing and network components (WAN/LAN) is expected.
• Able to multi-task, prioritize, and lead projects.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities under pressure.
• Familiarity with network diagnostic and monitoring tools.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and across engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Solve problems to support a series of network engineering tasks.
• Complete assigned tasks in a network environment.
• Diagnose basic network performance issues.
• Install or troubleshoot programs within network environments.
• Provide maintenance, support, and documentation as required.
• Conduct performance monitoring on the network and perform other duties as assigned.
