Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to provide proactive client network support in the Western Cape. You will monitor, diagnose, and resolve complex incidents to maintain SLA performance and service quality.

You will design and implement LAN/WAN solutions, assist with optimization, and mentor junior engineers. Strong TCP/IP knowledge and CCNP certification are required, with experience in Cisco SD-WAN highly valued.

Qualifications

• CCNP certification is required or actively pursued.
• Strong TCP/IP networking knowledge and routing protocols.
• Experience with Cisco SD-WAN and Viptela is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize client network infrastructure to meet SLA.
• Configure, install, test and operate client networks on site.
• Respond to alerts and perform proactive diagnostics.
• Identify root causes, coordinate with vendors, and document fixes.
• Mentor junior staff and share best practices.
