Job summary

Africonology in Cape Town (Hybrid) seeks a Senior Software Engineer / Senior .NET Developer on a contract basis to advance the IS3P platform and related information security initiatives. You will design, develop, test and support enterprise web apps and services, collaborating with analysts, security specialists and project managers.

Required: 8-10 years software development, 5+ years with .NET, and experience delivering enterprise systems in large organisations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8-10 years software development experience.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience with Microsoft .NET technologies.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise applications in complex corporate environments.
• Experience working within Financial Services, Insurance, Banking, or large enterprise environments advantageous.
• Experience working as a senior developer or technical lead.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop secure, scalable enterprise applications.
• Build and maintain APIs and system integrations.
• Develop enhancements and new functionality for the IS3P platform.
• Resolve production defects and incidents.
• Perform root cause analysis and optimise performance.
• Produce technical specifications and solution designs.
• Participate in architecture and design reviews.
• Mentor junior developers where required.
