Africonology in Cape Town (Hybrid) seeks a Senior Software Engineer / Senior .NET Developer on a contract basis to advance the IS3P platform and related information security initiatives. You will design, develop, test and support enterprise web apps and services, collaborating with analysts, security specialists and project managers.

Required: 8-10 years software development, 5+ years with .NET, and experience delivering enterprise systems in large organisations.

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer / Senior .NET Developer on a contract basis to support the continued development and enhancement of the IS3P (Information Security Self-Service Platform) and related Information Security initiatives.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, testing, and supporting enterprise-grade web applications and services, working closely with business analysts, security specialists, project managers, and other developers.

Experience Required

Solution Development

• Design and develop secure, scalable enterprise applications.
• Build and maintain APIs and system integrations.

Technical Design

• Produce technical specifications and solution designs.
• Participate in architecture and design reviews.
• Recommend technology improvements and modernisation opportunities.

Security and Compliance

• Apply secure coding practices.
• Ensure solutions align with the company security standards.
• Support remediation of security findings and vulnerabilities.

Collaboration
