Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement operational plans to achieve production targets and optimize resource utilization.
• Manage and lead a multidisciplinary team of mining professionals, fostering a culture of safety and high performance.
• Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
• Oversee the maintenance and operation of mining equipment and infrastructure to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
• Conduct regular site inspections and performance reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Manage operational budgets, control costs, and ensure financial targets are met or exceeded.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in mining operations management , with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale mining projects and achieving operational goals.
• Strong understanding of open-pit or underground mining techniques, equipment, and technologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.
• Valid Blasting Certificate or equivalent relevant professional certification.
• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
