Job summary

Sibanye-Stillwater requires an experienced engineer to uphold and improve engineering standards across Mine/Minerals Processing operations in Gauteng. You will lead discipline teams, design structures to meet targets, and oversee safety, ESG compliance, and asset optimisation.

The role demands 7+ years in engineering with management experience and a Government Certificate of Competency, plus driving labour planning and delivery of production targets.

Qualifications

• Practical / technical skills in mining environment, project planning, cost of ownership and financial models.

Responsibilities

• Design the Operations’ discipline structure to support the organisational mandate.
• Review and approve labour plans around operational targets.
• Provide leadership and inspire team members towards high performance.
• Manage performance and development of reporting staff.
• Drive a culture of Transformation and safety within the operation.
• Develop and monitor engineering maintenance, risk and operational strategies.
