Qualifications

• 7+ years in mining operations and mine planning.
• Strong understanding of energy management systems and renewable energy integration in industrial settings.
• Knowledge of mine design software and operational simulation tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement optimized mine plans focusing on operational efficiency and energy consumption reduction.
• Oversee daily mining operations, ensuring safety, productivity, and adherence to production targets.
• Identify opportunities for integrating renewable energy sources and energy storage into mine operations.
• Analyze energy usage patterns and recommend improvements for efficiency and cost savings.
• Manage the implementation of new technologies related to energy management and optimization.
• Conduct feasibility studies for energy-related projects within mining contexts.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and energy regulations.
• Supervise and mentor junior mining engineers and operational staff.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external energy providers.
• Prepare technical reports, budgets, and project proposals related to operations and energy initiatives.
