Placements24 is seeking a Senior Mineral Resource Manager for our client in Polokwane, Limpopo. You will oversee estimation, classification, and reporting of mineral resources across projects, ensuring adherence to JORC/NI 43-101 standards and mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities include modeling, data validation, and technical reviews, working with exploration, mining, and metallurgy teams to deliver reliable resource estimates and strategic insights for mine development.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Geology, Geostatistics, or a related field.
• 9+ years of progressive experience in mineral resource estimation and geology within the mining sector.
• Proven expertise in geostatistics and resource modeling software (Leapfrog Geo, Supervisor, Datamine, Vulcan).
• Strong understanding of major international resource reporting codes (e.g., JORC, NI 43-101).
• Ability to manage complex geological datasets and produce reliable resource estimates.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills; capable of leading technical teams.

Responsabilités

• Lead estimation and classification of mineral resources according to international codes.

• Oversee collection, management, and QA of geological and drilling data.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and resource statements for stakeholders.
