Qualifications

• Master's degree in Geology or Economic Geology.
• Minimum 7 years of mine geology experience with strong resource estimation background.
• Proficiency in geological modeling and resource estimation software.
• Experience with grade control processes and geological data management.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration in a hybrid Polokwane setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed geological mapping and structural analysis of the mine area.
• Log diamond drill core and RC chips, identifying lithologies, mineralization and alteration.
• Develop and maintain 3D geological models using Leapfrog and Micromine.
• Perform resource and reserve estimations according to industry best practices and reporting codes.
• Collaborate with mine planning engineers to optimize mine designs based on geological understanding.
• Provide geological support to production teams, assisting with grade control and interpretation.
