Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years in mine operations with at least 5 in a supervisory role.
• Proven track record leading large teams and achieving targets.
• Strong knowledge of mine planning, equipment, and best practices; safety/compliance focus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily mine production including drilling, blasting, loading, hauling, and development.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations and policies.
• Develop and mentor mining supervisors, operators and support staff.
• Create and execute operational plans to meet targets and budget requirements.
• Monitor performance, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions.
• Foster a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement at Bloemfontein site.
