Job summary

Krugersdorp, Gauteng urgently seeks a Millwright for a permanent vacancy. The role requires a qualified Millwright with an apprenticeship or equivalent training, plus a Section 13/26D Trade Test certificate.

Minimum 5 years in maintenance of large electrical and mechanical installations and strong SCADA/PLC experience are essential. Travel to other sites may be required and a valid driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Qualified Millwright with apprenticeship or equivalent training.
• Section 13 or 26D Trade Test Certificate as a Millwright (Electromechanician).
• 5+ years in maintenance of large electrical and mechanical installations.
• Strong electrical background with troubleshooting skills.
• 5+ years’ experience with SCADA and PLC control systems; field-control instrumentation advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Attend breakdowns and prioritize jobs promptly.
• Plan and perform routine servicing, repairs and preventive maintenance on electro‑mechanical equipment.
• Adhere to safety and housekeeping standards including MHSA/OHSA.
• Ensure stock levels are kept and maintained as required.
• Provide high standards of monitoring and reporting on plant condition.
