Job summary

Communicate Finance is seeking a qualified Millwright to lead maintenance activities within a manufacturing environment. The role includes supervising maintenance teams and external contractors, planning schedules, and ensuring electrical and mechanical maintenance across equipment.

The ideal candidate will have extensive fault-finding skills, experience with preventative maintenance, and strong OHS knowledge to uphold safety standards and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified Millwright with non-negotiable status.
• At least 10 years electrical and mechanical maintenance experience.
• Experience supervising maintenance teams in manufacturing/production.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance teams and external contractors.
• Plan and coordinate maintenance activities and schedules.
• Oversee electrical and mechanical maintenance across manufacturing equipment.
• Conduct fault-finding, troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Implement and support preventative maintenance programmes.
• Drive equipment reliability and minimise production downtime.
• Ensure compliance with OHS, quality and safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and maintenance reports.
