The ideal candidate has 8+ years in mechanical engineering with rotating equipment, a strong grasp of thermodynamics and failure analysis, and proven project leadership in energy environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Master's degree is an advantage.
• 8+ years in mechanical engineering with rotating equipment focus.
• Pr. Eng. registration with ECSA is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and solid mechanics applied to rotating machinery.
• Experience with vibration analysis and condition monitoring.

Responsabilités

• Provide expert guidance on design, selection, installation, and operation of rotating equipment.
• Develop maintenance strategies including predictive and preventive programs.
• Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
• Perform mechanical integrity assessments and fitness-for-service evaluations.
• Oversee major overhauls, repairs, and upgrades of rotating machinery.
• Manage mechanical projects from scope definition to completion.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and reliability teams to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Review vendor proposals and ensure alignment with project specs.
