The role requires 8+ years in mechanical engineering, a Master’s or PhD, and proven expertise in SolidWorks/CATIA with FEA/CFD. A track record in patents or publications is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive mechanical engineering experience with strong R&D focus.
• Proven patenting activity in mechanical designs or technologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead R&D for new mechanical systems from concept to proof-of-concept.
• Conduct advanced analyses (FEA, CFD) to assess feasibility and performance.
• Develop innovative CAD designs focusing on performance and manufacturability.
• Design and execute tests to validate models and prototypes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary R&D team across disciplines.
• Document findings, iterations, tests, and recommendations.
• Identify and evaluate emerging tech and materials for R&D.
• Mentor junior engineers and support team growth.
• Contribute to patent applications and publications.
• Manage project timelines and resources.
