Job summary

Construct Executive Search is seeking an accomplished mechanical engineer for a 12-month fixed-term contract based in Johannesburg. The role requires extensive EPCM delivery, mining sector experience, and proven leadership of multidisciplinary engineering teams on large greenfield and brownfield projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Professional registration with ECSA (Pr Eng) or eligibility is advantageous.
• 12–15 years of mechanical engineering experience.
• Extensive mining, minerals processing or heavy industrial project exposure.
• Significant EPCM delivery experience.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Proven track record on large greenfield and brownfield projects.
• Extensive construction, commissioning and operational readiness experience.
• Strong vendor and contractor management experience.
• Valid passport and ability to travel internationally; periodic site travel to Zimbabwe may be required.
