The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of design experience, strong CAD skills (SolidWorks, Inventor, CATIA), and a pragmatic approach to DFM/DFA. Remote/hybrid options available for SA-based candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of mechanical design experience in industrial machinery.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks, Inventor, CATIA) and FEA tools.
• Strong knowledge of statics, dynamics, thermodynamics, and materials.
• Experience with power transmission, hydraulics, pneumatics, and structures.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Remote or hybrid work experience encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Design detailed 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings for complex machinery.
• Perform mechanical calculations, simulations (FEA/CFD) to validate designs.
• Collaborate with project managers, electrical engineers, and manufacturing teams.
• Develop BOMs and technical documentation for parts.
• Provide design modifications to meet performance, cost, and manufacturability targets.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to design reviews.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
