Placements24 is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to lead a multi-line manufacturing facility in Mahikeng, North West. You will drive production planning, supply chain coordination, quality control, and workforce management to deliver high-quality products safely and efficiently.

The role requires a decade of operations leadership in manufacturing, strong Lean/Six Sigma expertise, strategic planning, and robust budget oversight to maximize profitability.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• MBA or Master’s degree is advantageous.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in operations management within manufacturing.
• Proven experience leading large operational teams and managing complex production processes.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, supply chain, and quality control systems.
• Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and efficiencies.
• Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement strategic operational plans to achieve production targets and business objectives.
• Oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient production flow and resource utilization.
• Manage production schedules, inventory levels, and supply chain logistics to meet demand.
• Implement and maintain robust quality management systems and continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the facility.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse operational team, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Monitor operational performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Manage operational budgets, controlling costs and maximizing profitability.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and synergy.
• Drive innovation in operational processes and technologies to enhance efficiency and competitiveness.
