Job summary

FSCA is seeking a Senior Manager: Regulatory Frameworks in Pretoria to lead policy development and regulatory drafting across financial markets. You will manage a team, engage with national and international regulators, and produce regulatory instruments to support implementation.

You will report to the Department Head: Regulatory Frameworks and drive high-quality regulatory initiatives in a collaborative environment that emphasizes stakeholder engagement and effective governance.

Qualifications

• A legal degree or equivalent qualification relevant to policy and regulatory framework development.
• Legislative drafting qualification is advantageous.
• Experience in policy development and regulatory drafting within financial services is essential.

Responsibilities

• Support the Departmental Head in implementing the FSCA Regulation Plan and policy projects.
• Design, manage, coordinate and execute policy and regulatory framework projects.
• Develop, review and draft regulatory frameworks and policy documents for financial markets and participants.
• Produce regulatory instruments to support implementation (exemptions, notices, rulings, forms).
• Provide regulatory support to FSCA divisions and external stakeholders; advise on regulatory provisions.
