Job summary

FSCA in Pretoria is seeking a Senior Manager: Regulatory Frameworks to support the Departmental Head in developing, reviewing and implementing high-quality regulatory frameworks within the FSCA's jurisdiction. The role includes managing policy projects, producing regulatory instruments, and engaging with National Treasury on primary legislation.

Responsibilities

• Support the Departmental Head in implementing the FSCA Regulation Plan and policy projects.
• Design, manage, and coordinate policy and regulatory framework initiatives.
• Develop, review and draft regulatory frameworks and instruments for markets, infrastructures, participants and activities.
• Produce high-quality regulatory instruments and documents for implementation.
• Provide timely regulatory support to FSCA divisions and external stakeholders.
• Engage with National Treasury on primary legislation and lead policy development processes.
• Lead and develop a small team of regulatory specialists and advisors.
• Build and maintain relationships with regulators, standard-setters, industry bodies and government departments.
• Contribute to operational efficiency through processes, reporting, planning and budgeting activities.
