You will be instrumental in ensuring the operational continuity and safety of our client's state-of-the-art facilities, often leading troubleshooting efforts and mentoring junior technicians. Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Conduct comprehensive preventative maintenance programs to minimize equipment failure and downtime.
• Oversee major repair projects and ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards.
• Interpret complex technical drawings , schematics, and manuals to guide repair activities.
• Mentor and train junior maintenance staff, sharing knowledge and best practices.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, parts inventory, and service reports.

Requirements

• Extensive experience (7+ years) as a Maintenance Technician , with a significant portion in a senior or lead capacity.
• Strong proficiency across multiple maintenance disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues independently.
• Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant trade certifications or qualifications are highly desirable for this role in Sandton .
