You will lead a team of technicians, ensuring all equipment and infrastructure are maintained to the highest standards while minimizing operational disruptions.

This role requires strong leadership, diagnostic skills, and a solid understanding of preventive and reactive maintenance strategies, budget control, and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a supervisory maintenance role.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance techniques and CMMS.

• Ability to manage budgets and maintenance expenses.

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations at facilities in and around Centurion. You will lead a team of technicians, ensuring all equipment and infrastructure are maintained to the highest standards, minimizing operational disruptions. This role requires strong leadership capabilities, excellent diagnostic skills, and a thorough understanding of preventive and reactive maintenance strategies within the Installation & Maintenance domain. You will be instrumental in optimizing maintenance schedules, managing resources effectively, and ensuring the safety and compliance of all maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance team, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Develop, implement, and manage preventive maintenance programs for all plant machinery and facility systems.
• Oversee reactive maintenance efforts, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of equipment failures and breakdowns.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Manage spare parts inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels and controlling costs.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations related to maintenance operations.

Requirements

• Significant experience in a maintenance role, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
• Proven ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance techniques and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
