Job summary

Bidvest Facilities Management seeks a Quality Auditor for maintenance work across electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and infrastructure. You will conduct inspections, develop planned maintenance schedules per SLA, and ensure subcontractors meet project timelines.

The role requires strong quality control experience and a solid grasp of safety standards. Responsibilities include final inspections with the technical team, tender support, and providing regular quality reports.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant quality control experience in civil, electrical and mechanical environments.
• Strong knowledge of quality and safety standards.
• Familiar with customer relationships in facilities management.
• MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook; SAP knowledge.
• Knowledge of OHS Act, ISO 9001, Risk Management & Mine Health & Safety Act

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality inspections on maintenance works – Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Infrastructure and soft services.
• Provide planned maintenance schedules per SLA for equipment & services.
• Conduct final quality inspections with the technical team & subcontractors.
• Ensure contractors follow project plans and delivery dates.
• Assist with tender processes for ad-hoc work and costings.
• Benchmark quotes from subcontractors.
• Recommend cost-effective maintenance and service solutions.
• Provide monthly, weekly and daily quality reports.
• Adhere to maintenance procedures and processes.
• Provide coaching, support and feedback to the technical team.
