Job summary

Affirmative Portfolios seeks an experienced Low Code/No Code Software Engineer to join a multi-disciplinary technology team on a 6-month contract. You will work with stakeholders, software vendors and partners across the delivery lifecycle, focusing on corporate domain apps built on low code/no code platforms for risk, compliance, sales and servicing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience using low code/no code toolsets.
• Solid experience with pre-built templates, drag-and-drop visual interfaces and entity builders.
• Proficiency with SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Web 2.0 techniques.
• Strong programming concepts — conditions and variables.
• Knowledge of data structures and integrations (API and file-based).
• Understanding of change control and governance.
• Experience in Agile with CI/CD processes.
• Strong configuration skills using packaged designer tools.
• Ability to explain complex solutions to less technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Deliver efficient low code solutions by analyzing business, systems and workflow processes.
• Work with low code elements such as form builders, pre-built templates, drag-and-drop visual interfaces and entity builders.
• Support analysis of internal processes to optimize and automate them.
• Test code and design using unit tests to ensure outcomes meet business rules.
• Maintain internal technical documentation and knowledge-sharing materials.
• Triage and root-cause analysis of incidents; resolve issues.
• Develop understanding of corporate domain applications.
• Collaborate with product owner to develop fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Work with stakeholders to implement and deploy changes.
