Job summary

Mphoti is seeking an experienced Senior Developer to join on a 6-month contract. You will work across the full software development lifecycle, mentor peers, and contribute technical guidance while delivering robust C#/.NET based solutions.

Location is Rosebank, Johannesburg in a hybrid role, offering independence, leadership, and hands-on contribution to design and implementation across projects.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, IT or related field; MCSD or equivalent qualification advantageous.
• 8+ years of relevant development experience

Responsibilities

• Analyse, research, design and document technical requirements for projects and change requests
• Develop and modify software modules in line with business and technical specifications
• Conduct manual and unit testing to ensure software quality
• Support successful deployments into UAT and production environments
• Improve existing systems, environments and overall system stability
• Mentor and coach developers on technology, development practices and solution design
• Keep up to date with developments within the C# and web development landscape
• Support the Tech Lead in implementing technical decisions

Education
